about us:

Sharon Perez started dancing Salsa 15 years ago.

She found it by complete accident. "I was in London's west end, late night shopping, when a Doorman at Bar Rumba dragged me and a friend in to the club"

"I had never seen anything like it. There were bodies everywhere gyrating moving and having fun to this incredible music"

"I was asked to dance but didn't know how to. I soon found out there were dance lessons all over London and I had to learn to do it"

"At first It seemed alien but once you learn the basics it becomes a life long passion, and gets addictive very quickly. There are so many styles and variations on the Salsa theme, there is no right or wrong just different"

After dancing the London Salsa circuit for many years Sharon decided to learn to teach Salsa. It helped that Sharon is a qualified aerobics instructor (see Salsasize).

After training with one of Cuba's finest Salsa instructors in London she decided South Kent was ready for something new and spicey. You can learn to dance Salsa in the local area (in a dance class) but you couldn’t find anywhere to dance or find a man to dance with. Bar Salsa is a four hour round trip so Sharon decided she wants to teach the people of Kent to dance and...
